Where can I find great nightlife in Beirut? is prostitution legal there?

Ok, basically you don't have to search for nightlife in Beirut. The entire city is alive at all times, and especially at night. It all depends on what you are looking for. The 2 main "going out" areas are Gemayze (smaller, packed bars), or Monot (Achrafeih), the larger clubs that go all night. There are some standalones like BO18 or Acid (Gay club). Warning, don't think cause you think you are some fancy westerner that you can walk right into these places. You better have some female companions with you or just be cool with the guys at the door. That's just one part of the nightlife here...you also have some small local hole in the walls in Hamra, you can chill and eat until 2 am Downtown, there's Batroun way up north (43 km ) which has its own scene. Then in the the summer you ave the mountains. Broummana, Beit Mary and Aley to name a few.



Now, prostitution..It's not what you think. We don't have hussies walking around on the street. You have to types of joints here...Super night clubs and bars. Super night clubs..you walk in...you ask a girl to sit with you, you buy a bottle of liquor, you talk blah blh blah..then you ask her if she wants to go out the next day, sometimes you'll get lucky and she'll go out with you that night (I've never been in a super night club, but know many people that have) a bar is basically like a brothel..you walk in..you buy a beer, you check out the Eatern European chicks...then you have your way. the supernight clubs ar ein Kaslik and Jounieh..Bars in Hamra..Very important Bars=Brothel Pubs=Drink. Also, don't think you're gonan hook it up with a Lebanese girl, unless youare willing to pay BIG bucks in a super night club. 99% of the girls are from Eastern Europe.

The other answerer has obviously never been to one of the best places for nightlife in the world.



Beirut and Lebanon are fast coming out of their civil war past (in the 1970s and 80s), they are not known for suicide bombers, but are known for amazing food, all-night partying, and a fun atmosphere.



It is currently being considered for the 2018 Olympic games.

As you can see, there is no shortage.



These clubs tend to start late (11pm is early) and go all night, long after dawn.



Prostitution used to be legal, kind of regulated like Amsterdam, before the civil war, now it is unregulated and like other unregulated countries it consists of almost enslaved eastern european women and gangsters.

yes prostitution is legal but u would have to ask around its not like Reno. Prostitutes have to be 18 or older not be a virgin and have a medical exam.



Go down town for night life where the "big ben" is therea alot of stuff there some pubs and stuff.
